In the year 1635 the artist Adriaen van de Venne made this kanto klasika artpiece. The original measures the size - height: 12 cm width: 28 cm | height: 4,7 in width: 11 in and was painted with the techinque menaka eo amin'ny tontonana. The artwork has the following text as inscrption: "dated and signed: 16[35?]. AD:v:Venn[e]inscription: all om arm". Furthermore, this work of art is included in the Mauritshuis's art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. We are pleased to mention that this bahoaka artwork is included, courtesy of Mauritshuis, La Haye. Also, the work of art has the following creditline: Adriaan van der Willigen, Haarlem; his sale, Haarlem, 20 April 1874 (Lugt 34788), no. 99 (88 guilders); purchased by the State Advisory Board for Monuments of History and Art and transferred to the Mauritshuis, 1875. In addition to that, the alignment of the digital reproduction is tontolo with an aspect ratio of 2 : 1, which implies that the length is two times longer than the width. The painter Adriaen van de Venne was an artist, whose style can be classified as Baroque. The European artist lived for a total of 73 years and was born in the year 1589 in Delft, South Holland, Netherlands and passed away in 1662 in Hague, The, South Holland, Netherlands.
